Redang Island - Part I

Apologize for taking so long to write and get back to my blog! I have been quite busy with my work since I've received re-designation letter, Business Development (BD) to Operations. Been busy going out to Commerce Dot Com to settle few errands. Before I hand over all BD's stuff, I have to make sure everything is okay.

White sand and clear blue water? Redang, definitely! It was amazing, I wish I can stay longer but Emir is waiting for Mommy to come home. Tee-hee. It was only 6 of us (female only) Kak Jumi, Kak Jijah, Kak Norli, Nadia, Alang and myself. The trip was for 4 days and 3 nights but we stayed 1 night in Kuala Terengganu (KT) to do shopping spree over there (keropok lekor, losong, etc) We flew to Redang Island by Berjaya Air from Subang Airport. Gathered at the airport and we checked in. Had breakfast at Austin Chase (nice). The trip took about 40mins from Subang Airport to Redang Airport.

Emir and Lego

Salam and good morning.

TGIF uolss! Tomorrow, Saturday (5 April) I'll be going outstation, far away from K.L and Selangor. Yay! (Hint, it's an island) Not with my family but with my dear friends :) When I'm back home, I will write about it ok. It's my first time leaving Emir since he was born. OMG. Pray hard that I won't cry in front of my friends. *Malu ooi* I hope Emir will be fine, it's only for 4D3N. Sob sob. Mommy will call you everyday & every night ok, son. I promise.

Lego. I think everybody heard about Lego before. When I was a kid, I couldn't afford to buy one. It's quite expensive. Yang kecik-kecik tu boleh la beli. Tapi tak berapa nak best la. Haha. Oh, yeah, Malaysia skang pun dah ada Legoland. KBai ni name je orang Johor, tapi belum pernah gi sana pun. Mesti Emir suka kan. Insya'allah, soon yer Emir.

Last few months, I went to Subang Parade with Atok and Wan Emir. While I was queuing up to pay for some stuffs that I bought, look what Emir did, playing with Lego! Alalala pandai nye anak Mommy. Baik je main sorang-sorang.

Gambar bawah ni suma lakonan. Selalu nye budak Momot ni tak diam macam ni yer.
Berlari keliling Subang Parade tu, iyer.

Mee Rebus Paling Lazat

Minggu lepas, Khamis KBai terpaksa ikut bos attend meeting kat JB. Meeting dgn client untuk projek Navy. Bertolak pukul 7pagi dari tol Sg. Besi, pukul 9.15pagi dah smpai tempat meeting. Dasat hazabedah betul Encik Driver bawak kereta, siap kena saman speed trap. Haha. Tapi memang tak terasa laju dan KBai siap boleh tido-tido ayam dalam perjalanan. Meeting pukul 10pagi so kami pekena sarapan kat mamak. Nothing special. Meeting only took 60minutes for our part, facilities management.

Lepas meeting, apa lagi, meroyan cari makanan la. Haha. Pusing-pusing ternampak deretan kedai makan. Park the car then teruskan pencarian makanan. Alhamdulillah jumpa ZZ Sup Tulang. Yeah, mee rebus paling lazat pernah KBai makan. Masa makan tu, terus speechless. Nasib tak hilang pedoman. Mungkin sedap sebab mee rebus tu dimasak dengan sup tulang gearbox. Ekceli, mini gearbox sebab kecik je, tak macam normal gearbox yang agak gedabak. Yang ni, memang comel cute-cute je gearbox. Straw yang diberi pun kontot.

Semangkuk RM8.50. Sangat berbaloi. Next time kalau pergi JB, must go there again.

Must try yer. Ni KBai sertakan dengan alamat. Ape lagi? Terjah la!

ZZ Sup Tulang

Potluck

A potluck is a gathering of people where each person of group of people may contribute a dish of food, to be shared among the group.

Personally, I think potluck is one way to develop close fellowship with friends and relatives, co-workers and even neighbors. This is the best time to share experiences, laugh and have fun together.

In my office, we will arrange potluck activity once in a while depends on our schedule and occasion such as farewell, birthdays and etc.

First, the host (that will be Ms. Fiza) will set a time and date for co-workers to bring their favorite dishes to the office. Second, she will send email invitation. Whoever wants to participate will reply together with their list of menus. We don't want to risk the chance that all guests will bring only desserts etc. Third, don't forget that someone needs to be responsible for beverages. Finally, we need to inform the kitchen helper, Kak Shila and Kak Diana so they will dig out extra serving platters, baskets, and utensils before the potluck starts.

Tada! Now we are ready for partay! Hehe. It's just simple arrangement and no hassle.

Ok enough with words, let's check out the menus!

It's on, finally!

After months of playing a guessing game with voters, Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak has announced the dissolution of Parliament today (03 April 2013), paving the way for the 13th general election.

Malaysia ku

In conjunction with dissolution of parliament today I started my own blog (what a coincidence). It's on, finally! For years, I have the desire to write on my own blog, but the intention was kept away for various reasons.

First, let me introduce myself. People around me call me 'Kak Bai', my family calls me 'Wa' and my son, Emir calls me 'Mommy'. Oh, of course my husband calls me wifey (cough!)

Second, I am currently staying in Petaling Jaya and work in Kelana Jaya. I enjoy downloading and watching my favorite tv series such as The Walking Dead, Grey's Anatomy, Pretty Little Liars, The Following and others. Once in a while, I will pay a visit to the nearest cinema (preferably, Paradigm Mall, GSC) Hehe!

Third, in this blog, I'll write about food and food places that I have visited. There may be additional writings about travel, shopping, my family and daily life. I will write in English and also in Bahasa.

Lastly, I hope you'll enjoy reading as much as I did writing. Thanks for dropping by!

Till then. Muahs!
